We chanced across the sign to this site on the way back from the Bone Caves - without time to stop - so arranged to return a few days later, when the weather was ok.
Good car parking and a pleasant if steep walk down to the Burn, with some great flying to be had low over the burn or higher up between the trees.
The original circular path is now closed due to a landslip, but the out-and-back lower path leads to a nice picnic spot, we sadly didn't have time to do the other walk, but perhaps will return to do it another time...
The place is quiet, with lots of storm downed fir trees adding a wild feel to the place, the one local we met did warn us of the fierce midges from June to September, so be warned and take precautions...
