RC charging weird after .700

After updating to .700, I charged my controller and it stopped charging at 87%. I unplugged the micro USB and re insert, it'll charge for a couple more minutes and stop. Repeated a couple times and it was at 90%.
Today I noticed that the controller is at 100% charged now, just sitting over night, unplugged.
Anyone ever experienced this before?

I had that with a problematic USB cable before.

Yes. I've had the same experience. After use, reset and recharge the counter resolved correctly. My assumption was the readout is incorrect, not the actual charging.

I'm on .500 so This is not an issue related to .700
