RC pro will not connect to external monitor using HDMI male to HDMI male through converter to mini HDMI

I would start by using a HDMI cable that doesn't need a converter.

Thank you, I am looking for a male HDMI to male mini HDMI cable. They are kind of hard to find, that is why I went the converter route but everyone thinks that converter is the issue.
