Hi all. So has anyone got a good feel for which (if any) of the aftermarket covers/sunshields for the RC2 cause minimal (if any) signal degradation to the internal pair of antennas? These covers usually wrap around in that area and some degradation (depending on the exact plastic used and density) would seem not impossible. Anyone really look at this? Any recommendations? Thanks, and best for the new year!

Internal aerials ? I thought the RC2 only had the 2 external ones ? If it does have any internal ones I have been using them with my sunshade from the start and have never noticed any lack of performance. Actual sunshade component largely a waste of time for that purpose - makes very little difference. I keep it on mine only because it protects the sticks when folded up and means I never have to take them off.

I use a stretchy black rubber sunshade (works great!) and have experienced no signal transmission issues, but then I don't operate my Air 3 at anywhere near its published distance limits. I had no idea that there are antennae inside the RC2. What purpose do they serve?
