While I like the DJI soft case once you stick the controller (unprotected) in the pouch on the back it gets pretty bulky. The DJI case really ideal if you want to use the Air with a phone or just hand gestures but really, who does that?
When I saw this case I had to try it. It's pretty thin and holds both the Air and the RC. While it doesn't have room for anything else (spare batteries, etc.) the case probably will be my favorite.
