Real dumb question

I have an android when updating I usually get the update through the app store. I update the app turn on ac then rc. When I start the DJI go4 app it updates. Is updating the ac and rc or do I have to go to assistant to update those too? Never hooked it up to assistant for updates since I have owned it. Mav pro by the way.

You don't need to run Assistant to update the Mavic and the remote, if they need updating then Go4 will tell you and will do the update for you.

Thanks never really checked the firmware on remote or rc . Don't fix something that isn't broken. I know ignorance is no excuse!
