A DSAR member flew a search mission on 23 September 2019 in support of Beach Rescue. Over 1 hour and 15 minutes of flight time and four sorties searching for a drowning victim in rough ocean waters. Victim was not found and search was suspended due to poor visibility and loss of daylight. Search will resume in the morning. Open ocean SAR can be very demanding.
