Recent (2019) DJI Go 4 compatibility with Pixel 1st gen?

I've been doing some research on the compatibility of the Pixel 1st gen with DJI Go 4, but all the threads I've found are years old. Does anyone have a more recent compatibility assessment?

It was released October 4, 2016 so 2 years 7 months (ancient in phone time) but up until I got my Smart controller I used my Pixel no problem.

I still use the phone everyday ? it is running the December release of pie
