Recent MP owner in Uk saying hi

Hi all from the uk. Not long got a MP taken it out mainly recently to check out the progress on our new house as its being built.

Have a few questions for everyone if you would be so kind. I wish to start filming more interesting things going out finding scenic landscapes etc during the day and at low light evenings etc. My MP is totally standard as it comes. What are the first off best accessories to pick up for it. Im thinking extended landing gear and some camera filters but unsure as to what all the modes do etc i just stick it in auto..... probably worst thing to do ever. Also is it best to use phone for display or should i swap to a tablet. I do have a nvidia shield k1 that would do the job if i get an adapter for the controller.

Also for post production editing is there a simple program i can use just to enhance the vids?

Howdy from Wyoming tomk555, welcome to the community, plenty of fine folk and excellent information here. I would recomend filters, they help very much with filming, I also have an Nvida Sheild and use a mavmount.

What are the first off best accessories to pick up for it.

Here are my favorite must-have accessories for the Mavic:

• Extra Batteries (get them from DJI or Amazon)
• Lens Pen (to easily clean the camera or ND filters)
• Case (check out the Go Professional hard case or others here)
• Extra Memory Card (find commonly used memory cards here)
• Memory Card Reader (to easily transfer photos/videos from memory card to a computer)
• ND Camera Filters (find a list of good brands to use here)
• Toolkit (in case you need to disassemble anything)
• Combined Gimbal Lock & Cover (the OEM cover has weak tabs that eventually break off)
• Compatible Phone/Tablet to Fly (see a list of commonly used phones/tablets here)
• Extended Landing Gear (in case you need more clearance between the camera & ground)
