Registering previously-owned drone

Hi,

One of my relatives recently purchased a previously-owned Mini 3 with RC controller. All is working well. Except that we cannot find a way to register the drone with DJI cloud account/profile. The drone may still be associated with the original owner account.

Does anyone know the process to get this corrected?

I suggest contacting the previous owner to make sure that they removed it from their account before attempting anything.

If you log out and the drone is still connected to the previous owner you will not be able to register it under a new account. This will put limitations on how far and how high you can fly.
