Remote control does not show up on "ready to go" screen

Looking to going into intelligent fly modes....and I know I need to hit the "remote control" on the left side....go4 app...however it shows at first on connection and then goes away....any ideas to how to keep the remote control on the screen so I can enter into intelligent flight modes?

Make sure the Sport mode switch is turned off on the right side of the remote controller.
