No, never use anything with oil to clean electronics ... WD40 will not do it.Hi, I do also get the same rotation issue every time I bring the drone down. Sometimes I get this jerks in mid air too. One technical option is to use EXPO function on controller settings. Make the value to 0.10. since the curve becomes like a log, this makes small input to not have any effect. Although u loose the linear yaw response.
I maybe go for cleaning. Any idea if wd40 can be used to clean potentiometer, since in india we hardly have access to contact cleaner.
Go online & buy isopropylalcohol ... as clean as possible. Then follow attached YT clip to disassemble the RC & clean the stick parts shown there.
Had the same problem with my RC & the left stick making "ghost inputs" to rotate right when I was only applying left stick forward/backward ... & calibration didn't help. The disassemble is quite fiddly & needs patience but it can be done, take your time. Haven't had any problems since cleaning.
