Remote drifting

Hi, I do also get the same rotation issue every time I bring the drone down. Sometimes I get this jerks in mid air too. One technical option is to use EXPO function on controller settings. Make the value to 0.10. since the curve becomes like a log, this makes small input to not have any effect. Although u loose the linear yaw response.
I maybe go for cleaning. Any idea if wd40 can be used to clean potentiometer, since in india we hardly have access to contact cleaner.
No, never use anything with oil to clean electronics ... WD40 will not do it.

Go online & buy isopropylalcohol ... as clean as possible. Then follow attached YT clip to disassemble the RC & clean the stick parts shown there.

Had the same problem with my RC & the left stick making "ghost inputs" to rotate right when I was only applying left stick forward/backward ... & calibration didn't help. The disassemble is quite fiddly & needs patience but it can be done, take your time. Haven't had any problems since cleaning.

I've had similar problems recently as well, after flying my MA1 a few times since getting my MA2. I don't recall having these issues right when I got my MA1. (Has never been in a crash or any incident, but frequently needs a compass calibration)

After some searching on Youtube and online, it appears that this sort of issue (the Mavic Air undergoing unwanted drift or yaw even in the presence of no controller inputs) is not an isolated case. The usual suggested options are:

1. Calibrate RC/controller
2. Calibrate Compass
3. Calibrate IMU

In your case it appears it's an issue with the controller as the same issues happen in the simulator. I found this video where the fellow had a similar issue with the MA1 controller:

He ended up getting a replacement from DJI and everything was fine afterward.
