Its just so much easier to plug the cable into the drone download and then delete the dcim file on the card
I saw a different video when I first got my Mavic Air about adding the tab and I did. The tab has worked well for me and it has an added bonus that with the SD/USB-Port Door closed, I can see a little bit of my tab sticking out of the drone and I know the SD card is in position.
I have learned the hard way to use long Tweezers for the final removal or initial inserting of the SD Card. My office has many of the qualities of the Winchester Mystery House (Google it). No matter where you are in my office, dropping an SD Card will result in it falling at an unusual angle and disappearing behind a very large and nearly UN-movable, & heavy desk.I'm glad that I'm not the only one finding it cumbersome to grab the SD card out of the Air. Not problem at all on my MP.
