Repair, upgrade, or suck it up

Hello folks,

I had a hard landing on my Mini 3 Pro and my gimbal won’t function in portrait mode. What would you do?

I'm new so take it with a grain of salt.
It depends on your expertise at repair, cost, and available funds.

If it were me, and I had a 3, and it broke, I would look at selling it, taking the money from the sale, and upgrading to the 4. Mainly because of the upgrades that the 4 got over the 3 (again I'm new and that's based on what I've seen on youtube and no actual experience).

What would you do?

Keep it as a backup and spend the funds on a new product.
One flying camera in many cases isn’t enough.

If you have coverage, get it repaired, if you don't have any coverage, check and see how much DJI would charge you to repair it.. Either way would probably be less than getting a new drone, new or used. And even if you rarely ever use that mode, there may be other effects you have not spotted yet..

How is a Mini 4 pro an upgrade of the Air 3???

I can't speak for the Air 3 but the Mini 4 is awesome based on vids.
It has visual obstacle interference, can fly 25mph, and with the "regular" batteries it weighs less than 250g.

Mine likes wasp nests at night, though.
