Replacement Mavic

Received my placement Mavic from B&H. Not sure if my original Mavic'd gimbal cover had a notch in it. Looks like they updated this in the new batch. See picture. Can someone confirm if they have this on the original batch of Mavic's sent out

The gimbal cover always had that notch.

Mine did. It wasn't one of the originals though arrived in Dec, 2016.

Yup, it's not new, it's always been there.

Yep , the notch let's air in and flow across the gimbal motors then into the main body when flying with the cover on . All I have seen has had the notch .
