Restricted flying in Braunstone. Leicestershire UK .

Evening all. Would any of you know why Braunstone is a restricted area for drone flying? I was getting some great videos of the flight of locks there. Suddenly, when nearing Braunstone marina. I received a message saying "This is a restricted area" My filming stopped, and I could fly no further. Yes, I'm bracing myself.................................................

David, I think you mean Braunston, not stone, if so you were in close proximity to HMP RYE HILL and HMP ONLEY

I Agree. But are there any locks in Braunstone?? I knew someone would point that out,after i put it up

i have lived in leicester for 50+ years, and at one time worked in braunstone, to the best of my knowledge there are no locks there whatsoever

the area is listed as hih risk only
