Anyone know if it is possible to get authorization to fly in this situation? I only need to fly at or below tree level but it is in the red zone. Screenshot_20180524-145450.jpeg

You can apply to DJI to get a Custom Unlock.

You will need to supply documentation showing that you are authorized to fly in that location.

Please submit documentation indicating your authorization to fly in the designated area. Documentation may differ depending on the type of the restricted zone:
1 Airport: an authorization or permit from the airport or the aviation authority.
2 Nuclear plant: an authorization or permit from the nuclear plant or the aviation authority.
3 Prison: an authorization or permit from the prison or the aviation authority.
4 Stadium: an authorization or permit from the stadium or the aviation authority.
5 Military base: only accept applications from the military base.
6 Disaster area: only accept applications from government agencies, such as police, fire, rescue, public safety, and aviation authorities.
7 Other area: an authorization or permit from the aviation authority or a public safety agency.

It’s within the 5-mile rule. Have to contact the Traffic Control Tower and request authorization. Typically, they will agree. Just tell them your location and proposed fight altitude and for how long. If you want to fly in the same area, usually within a 400’ radius, they will grant a temporary extended authorization; or whatever they want to call it.
That way you won’t have to call everyday. If any authorities stop you and ask about it, they can verify that you’ve received the permission under the stated guidelines that you requested.
If any airspace’s crossover, must do the same thing for each one; assuming each airfield has a tower.
This also applies to any Heliport and Hospital Heliports.

You don't need authorization, only to inform.
