I'm going to visit my daughter in Big Sur, is the area safe to fly in?

airmap shows me no restrictions in the area. I hope your trip goes well. I know that mudslide has inconvenienced a lot of residents and visitors. hope they get that cleared up soon.

Anything on the coast near Big Sur is part of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary which is a National Park. You could get a ticket if flying from within park boundries but other than that your OK. No airports or anything real close.
