I am thinking that if I loose my Mavik I could retreive it on the basis of the last GPS data displaid by the 'Flight data' screen of the DJI GO 4 application. In this respect I need to use an Android app which displays my actual GPS position in order to choose in which direction I would have to walk to find my Mavik.

Can you indicate the best Android app for that?

I think the last time I tested this out I just used Google Maps and put in the GPS coordinates and it worked fine! Showed my location in relation to the drone. Hope this helps! -CF

Didn't see you post YngveN, that's probably the best option. (haven't updated Go App myself as I am away from home so I forgot about that feature:rolleyes:). -CF

Here's where the "Find My Drone" feature can be found in DJI GO:

If the drone is not powered up, you will only be able to see the last recorded location. Other features (e.g. flashing the lights) will not work.

Many thanks to YngveN, msinger, MavicCF and james_mav for their precious help. I had not noticed the 'Find my drone' function in DJI GO 4 before. I am presently in my garden where I have flown my Mavic the last time; the 'Find my drone' screen displays 2 arrows on the map. I suppose that the red arrow is for my present location and the blue arrow is for the drone. If I'm right? I don't even need to use Google map. OK?

I think the blue arrow is for your position, red for the drone. Can someone else verify?
