I always remember getting a audio message saying the homepoint has been recorded. But recently I noticed I'm not hearing this even after GPS lock and getting the message ready to go GPS. Do I have to go to settings and set the home point setting again? In the home point settings I am assuming the compass arrow symbol means return to original location and the man symbol means return to location where the remote is. Is that correct?

You shouldnt have to, but you can try hitting the set homepoint like you spoke about above manually. Try it and if you dont get the speech, check your volume on your phone or table, that is where that speech comes from. Also make sure you are getting enough satellites to get a good proper sat lock, minimum 6 or 8 but preferably 12 or more..cmon back after testing that and checking sat count, others will help it that dont help figure it out..
