I am a new drone pilot and purchased the MPP. I love the drone. After two weeks of flying, I am getting a motor current error. I was told to send it back. I felt one of the motors and it was too hot to touch.
I have not crashed the drone, so I don’t know what caused it.

Has anyone else had any strange things happen with their MPP?

Once the motor current error started, I experienced obstacle detection kick on in the middle of my flight where nothing was around the drone. (Only happened once) Unless the Agents of Shield’s Quinjet was in front of me in cloaked mode, I think something mechanical was happening.

I hope no one else has these issues honestly. I wanted to fly over the holidays.

Happy thanksgiving!

Since it's only within 2 weeks, I'd just return it to the vendor and ask for a replacement, not worth the hassel of dealing with DJI.

Bummer part is that DJI is who I bought it from. I used their student discount to get 10% off the purchase. Made it cheaper than anyone else.

Keep us posted, I’m guessing you’ll be without it for 4-6 weeks, I hope I’m wrong.

Repair has been completed. The front left motor arm had to be repair. I am not sure what happened, but it has been covered by warranty and I am supposed to get it next week.

I have heard stories about bad support, but so far so good.

Can’t wait to get it back! I have missed flying and especially using it around Thanksgiving when the weather was absolutely perfect for flying.
