Rocks river - LUT experiments

A friend of mine was asking to film this river of rocks and on top of this had a list of settings like D-log 1 -3 -3 I never used before. It was windy, cloudy with fast-moving shadows ... perfect time for the job

I had it done and then dealing with this gray and flat footage was a major challenge for me after several tries I both some LUT and run Resolve again - a little underexposed for my taste but good for the first try in unexplored waters

On my to-do list is recording in 4K D-Log with -1,-3,-3 (your using +1?) there is a free LUT at Ground Control Color for D-Log to Rec.709 that I believe is tuned for DJI D-Log (-1,-3,-3),

This will be my first try at color correction and using LUTs. I can foresee myself squinting at the screen for many hours, with plenty of liquid encouragement at hand.

Weather permitting, I'm planning an attempt this weekend.
