Lately when flying my Mini 4P I keep getting the RTH screen (RTH or LAND) popping up for no reason as I fly. I've used this controller on my Mavic 4P and it doesn't do it on that drone.
Anyone else having this issue?

I've used the RC Pro 2 with my Mini 4 Pro and had no such issues over a couple of flights.

I realize now that I wasn’t clear on this message. I’m talking about the RC two not the pro the controller that comes with the mini 4. I use that controller sometimes with my Mavic for pro too so we’re not talking about the RC two pro just a normal RC two.

Thanks for clarifying. Can't help you there, although my prior use of the RC 2 with the Mini 4 Pro had no such issues. Sounds like it might be an issue with your Mini 4 Pro, rather than the RC 2, since the Mavic 4 Pro isn't affected by it. Could also be an issue with a newer RC 2 FW update for the Mavic 4 Pro affecting the Mini 4 Pro installation on it. Good luck in resolving it. Sounds really annoying!

Recently updated mine and never seen this issue. Only time mine ever does that is when the battery drops to 19% (I think).
Always fly in line of sight so never even seen the out of range return to home.

Hi! Been fixed many of that from my clients, the problem was the transmission it keeps loosing thats why it always prompts
Makes sense except the OP states, "I've used this controller on my Mavic 4P and it doesn't do it on that drone."
Problem is oddly unique to using the RC 2 only with the Mini 4 Pro.

Have you set the C1 or C2 buttons to Return Home?

Could you all give a more detailed description of the problem and some additional info?

When this happens are you simply moving the sticks and the drone is flying around as expected in response to stick movements?

What does the battery indicator show? Percentage? Flight time remaining before RTH?

Is there any interruption in the video feed, or is it constant and smooth?

Do you have a clear line of sight to the drone?

Is your body between the antenna and the drone, or is it out in front of you?

It seems that when im flying and somewhat close to home but not like right on it but flying around in a couple hundred feet of where im at, it keeps poping up and asking to do one of two things, land or RTH but i can be hovering or actively flying and it comes up. Hitting on the screen view to the side of the pop up makes it go away but is annoying when you need to use both sticks to maneuver or in the middle of a maneuver requiring both. Maybe a proximity thing, but when flying over water and this is happening a little unnerving as one wrong hit of the screen may make it start landing....

Clear line of sight, antenna pointed to the bird, so no loss of signal whatsoever. I looked to see if there is a way to disable this pop up but couldnt find anything. Plenty of time, fresh battery and it does it, and good signal (its not loosing signal). Feed is fine, constant and smooth.

Thanks!

Just trying to eliminate functional behavior before calling this a bug/defect. As others, I haven't experienced it, so I regret I have no answers yet.

You should be orientating the antennas to be perpendicular to the drone, not pointing them at the drone.

Here's a possible explanation. This happened to be several times when I first began using the RC controller. Is it possible that your pressing the RTH/Land screen button with your left hand just below the base of the thumb?
