Running different firmware versions on Mavic 2 and the remote controller

Hello...

I have a quick question on : Is it ok or advisable to run different firmware versions between the Mavic 2 Pro and the remote controller. I would like to keep my mavic 2 at 1.00.0100 but the remote is currently at 1.00.400.
If you could point me in the right direction or articles on this. Thank you.

You might get the results I'm having as folks are pointing me to my cable being the issue but I fully believe it's the different s/w between bird and RC,.. see this thread-
