Out for a sail on a beautiful autumn weekend. Wasn't much breeze, but all the the better to pop up the Mav for a spin!

I'm really getting into my boat flying, this is my third day out. However, some tips if you are trying this out... remember to set your loss of signal behaviour to HOVER. Otherwise your Mav will fly off to it's home point and drown if it loses signal. I hadn't done this... because I was under the mistaken impression that "Set Controller as Home Point" was a dynamic home follow setting! This is not the case, which accounts for my confusion when the home point always ended up 2k away. As most of you probably know already, "Set Controller as Home Point" is a one time set. I've had one slightly scary experience losing visual on the boat and getting confused with other boats, so this is not for the faint of heart. So.. set your behaviour to hover, and reset the home point if you lose visual contact or orientation, then you get your map pointer back, and bingo.
And as always... fly safe, save plenty of juice for the return!
