I thought perhaps I should not get too close of a federal building. But this was during X-mas week, so there didn't appear to be much activity.
Beautiful building, so while flying, I thought this would make a great black and white subject. A little light added there and there on Lightroom, darkened to pretend that it is taken at dawn with light on in the streets, et voila! Something taken from a drone put in a time machine, shot in the late 19th century, and brought back to modern time for our visual pleasure...

I initially wanted to fly at night, since I am not 107 restricted, and this church is beautifully lighted then. But I arrived late at the hotel, and I also fear all the many obstacles that you can not see at night, like wires, branches, antennas, etc...
So it is during the day that I took this shot. I outlined the roof and removed the background on Photoshop, giving it the full attention that it deserved. ( or so I thought...
