Actually turning
(Force Close) off all resource hungry applications that may be lurking in the background is also a very good idea.
Since I use an Android device I get really nifty and use Tasker combined with a NFC tag. Tasker allows multiple tasks to be performed at once. Its like writing a macro that completes tasks on an Android phone. Then I link that task with an NFC tag that has been written to initiate the series of tasks.
Then its just a matter of bumping the tag and having all of the actions performed. i.e. Screen Brightness 100 percent . Volume 100 percent. Force Close open apps .Airplane Mode on . Bluetooth off, Launch DJIGO4, etc
Admittedly I am a bit of a geek when it comes to automating repetitive actions and I can go kinda deep.
