Saving Photos to Device

Had been using a S7 Edge with my MP and it would save stills and video to device. Got a new phone, S8 Plus, and it saves videos to device but not photos...symptom of MP or device? Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Yes, there is a setting, something like 'Save HD photos to device' or something similar. I think it's in the camera settings menu (i.e. the one under the take photo / start recording button).

Try using a different File Explorer. Maybe there is some problem with the file manager. You can download ES File Explorer. It is the best file explorer
