Most raptors tend to be territorial and a drone is a predator. Surprised it didn't take off and give the drone a swat.

Nice pic! I was flying my M300 last week and had to land momentarily due to an adult golden eagle circling above. Didn’t want to risk damage to either bird!

This guy had sat there for almost an hour...I actually didn't notice him initially and had been doing figure 8s above him for 5 or 10 mins when I noticed him...took 5 or 6 pics and carried on flying...he was probably full...we have lots of rabbits here.?

I think someone posted on this forum a year ago a bald eagle grabbed ahold of a dji phantom and took it to its nest with little eaglets. That guy had the balls to hike that mountain and climb that tree and got it back. cool video, probably search for "Eagle takes my drone"
