Screen record in landscape on the iPhone X ??

Screen recording was simple on my pre-X iPhones, just rotate to landscape, swipe up, hit record, and it records in landscape.

On the iPhone X you cannot swipe up from the bottom when the phone is rotated -- you have to swipe down from the upper right, which only records in portrait.

You should learn the iPhone X models. Swiping from the bottom is the app switcher. Upper right corner is control center where you can add a widget for screen recording. The recording will be in landscape if you start recording with the phone in an app that does landscape. Shutting the recording off is to tape the red recording icon on the upper left.
