Clarification.
Slight difference between what the OP pictured and a hex.
Good that DJI got away from the dreaded Phillips style.

I've never seen some of these! I believe "hex" is also referred to as "allen" type screw heads. Thanks for sharing this.

I've noticed in the unboxing videos that the props aren't preinstalled like the mavic air 2 or the m3p. So since the drone is from a larger class of drones has that made a difference using the supplied screwdriver? I've only had to replace the props once on the mm I used to have. Since the props are larger I'm wondering if the supplied screwdriver is of better quality.

Confirmed. Hex.
Although the picture in post #5 does resemble a Torx type head.
I should know better than to question anything that emanates from the house of

Yeah I'm embarrassed, lol. Mods here are amazing. I really like the idea of a quick release prop system like this that can be removed so easily and makes updating while sitting on a table seem much more safe. It's very easy to strip out the screws when they're so small and once it's stripped out it is a real pain to remove. My intention is to add to the site not be a distraction by stating something that's inaccurate. I'm really glad we have such talented Mods to make sure we get the facts straight.
I did put on a Dunce hat and sat in the corner for a bit over this one. It happens.
