Hi Guys

I got a new Scandisk ULTRA 64Gb XC1 SD card for my Mavic.

When I record video's, it records a few seconds then I get an SD Card error.

Any else had this, or maybe have a fix?

I reformatted, etc. but still the same.

When I use the 16Gb that was supplied, all works good.

Card may be faulty, or a fake?

Sent from my iPad using MavicPilots

I dont think it is fake, I bought it when I bought my GoPro 5. When I use it in the GoPro, all works well....

I am using a Samsung Memory 64GB Evo MicroSDXC UHS-I Grade 1 Class 10 card without any issues, best you can do is try another card really.

Also did you format the card in the Mavic via DJI GO app or in your PC/MAC ??

What resolution are you recording at? If re-formatting it via the app does not work then try to record at 1080p 30 and see if you still get the same issue.

Sandisk ULTRA cards have a write speed lower than 30MB/s and I do not believe they are certified for 4k video, only FullHD 1080p. However specification wise ULTRA cards should still be ok in theory as the Mavic only writes at 7MB/s or so but that is theory not the real world. If it is fine recording at a lower resolution then I would say the card is simply not fast enough. :(

It happens the same to me with the supplied SD card. Also tried with another card, and the same issue.

I changed the video settings to 1080p, and it works. It will record normally.
Of course this solves the issue, but I don't think is nice, since one should be able to record in 4k, specially with the supplied SD Card!!

Hi ,
I have a Lexar 633x Micro SD HC I card that came with my Mavic pro and works. However I bought an additional one which does not work. is a CanDisk Extreme Micro SD XC I V30.
The only thing a notice is one is HC I (works) and the other is an XC I (which does not work).
Have tried the XC I on my Mac and works, so is not faulty.
I have formated through the DJI Go app. Once formated, i cannot record and an SD CARD ERR message appears.
Any thoughts?
Thank you
