Secondary case to leave iPad connected

I’ve been using this to protect my iPad while leaving everything connected. Read several opinions about the nut stripping out so chose to leave intact.

If you don't need it to be super portable where you will be hiking in anywhere then this is great, you can be up flying really quick plus it looks like you might have room for a sandwich or two in there!

Is that a Skyreat tablet holder? If so I have the same one and understand your concern not wanting to loosen the ( Plastic ) nut every time and collapse the holder but I would personally at least take the tablet off.

Here is what I am currently working on ( I hate folding and unfolding my drone ) I know its only a matter of time until I snap a propeller or something stupid.

It is two pcs of approx 3" thick foam stacked on top of each other. The top layer of foam easily comes out and I plan to have the tablet sandwiched between the two pcs of foam with the controller, charger, tablet holder ( All collapsed ) and whatever else I can cram in the bottom layer.

I originally made it so I didn't have to collapse anything with an old iphone as a controller but I soon realized I needed something bigger to fly with so its back to square one, atleast on the bottom layer. I was also able to get a portable usb charger to fit perfectly under the dji charger.

Very Clever! I've just been using my case (bag) to go for a quick flight out back which means hiking up a steep hill and this was a good way to protect the ipad instead of carrying it by hand while connected. I have a good feel for not over tightening plastic threads but thought it best to play it safe. And yes it is a Skyreat tablet holder. Very happy with it except for small play on one side of base, I'll come up with a shim for it. I like the case you are using and may use something like that myself in the future.
