Seeing props in video?

I just wanted to ask if this seems normal. I just bought this M2Z brand new about a week or so ago, and in an active track video I took today I noticed you can see the props in the footage at times. Should I be concerned? I'm sure I could return it if need be. See video below:

How was the wind that day?

It would not be uncommon if the wind was strong. That seems likely since the props only come into view when the Mavic is pointed toward a specific direction.

All of them seem to be on the side to which you were rotating. That side will of course be lowest and your camera was fixed. I would not worry. Maybe try cinematic mod and a “flatter” rotation of the drone.

Thanks for the fast replies, guys.

Cinematic mod? Can you explain further? Please excuse my lack of experience.

4 MPH up in the air over water seems really low. If you post your TXT flight log here, I can upload it to Airdata and check out the wind estimates if you'd like.

Msinger - I will do that, thank you so much for the help. Check back in about 3-4 hours, as it'll have to wait till I get home. No rush, though. Thanks again.

New at photography with a drone but could it have been a shadow from the props? It looks like the sun was to the left of the bird every time you see it

This is the info from the video that screen recorded from my DJI go app, followed by the 4 most recent .txt files on the same device (not exactly sure which one you need)

It is one of the modes available from the mode menu on the right side of the screen. It results in milder pitch to the drone and a bit easier for some to avoid problems like you noted.

Almost no ripple on the water, I doubt there was much wind.

I believe the ONLY way I can see the props on my M2P is to tap/hold on the screen then manually move the gimbal left/right. Otherwise, I don't think I've ever seen props. Perhaps the focal length of the M2Z is less than the M2P, thus wider angle?

Nice Vid...

None of those flight logs match the flight from the video. They were all over land.

The drone moves forward by tilting forward, to fly faster, it tilts further.
If you have the camera pointing forward and tilt the drone, the props are going to be in the frame.
You had the camera tilted down less than 5° several times during the flight: 444-482 secs, 896-987 secs, 1104-1179secs and 1190-1234 secs.

Oops! Try this one:
That's the correct log. The calculated max wind was only about 10 MPH.

Good thoughts. @acdraindrps, if that happens again, try slowly tilting the camera down until the props are out of the frame.
