Self learn for commercial in the UK

Is there anyway to self-learn for the commercial license. At just over £1000 is a bit expensive for me. Or is ther a cheaper option. Say under £500.

Sadly not. It’s an attended course as you need to take exams (written and practical) with an approved and qualified company. You’ll find prices are all in the same range. I did mine with these guys Heliguy - Quadcopters, Drones and Training - DJI UK Dealer

I was reading about them. Best price with good reviews and soon to be in Aberdeen. Still a lot of money for a hobbiest that might get asked to do an odd video.

I agree, it’s pricing a lot of people out, and overly complicated.

Keep an eye out as ive had emails pushing the deal a few times. Possibly it was to get over the winter lull or maybe the possible UK ideas on registration is prompting them to take advantage.
