Serial number

on the inside of the Mavic under the battery, if I lost my Mavic can the serial number under the battery compartment be used to fly the Mavic via an iPhone? that is if the Mavic is not damaged

I have never flown Wi-Fi.

You won't need that serial number, but you'll need that password in order to connect via Wi-Fi.

Thanks MS so a good thing to do would be to remove that sticker from under the battery

I thought the sn was needed for wi fi but i now know it is the password that is needed I did state that I have not flown wi fi learn something every day thanks for your feedback guys

Be sure to take the sticker with the password off the arm on the outside also

I did that early on with my Mavic after doing research and reading the manual, also looking at you tube while waiting for my mavic to arrive after seeing this
Just had another look at that vid and I had forgotten about changing the password.
