I think it would be good if we could turn on the DJI4 app and do all preflight camera/flight adjustments before starting the drone. Then after starting the drone the preselected items would quickly transfer. Seems like im always stressed trying to adjust this and that while the drones battery percentage drops.

Well, you can get all your settings the way you want, and leave that as a baseline.
And then when you do get ready for you flight, while the bird is searching for gps lock, you can make the change(s) you want in need be. Then after you hear the voice claim that "Homepoint has been recorded, please check it on the map", you can take off/hover and during the first minute of hover while you check and make sure all is good (control responses, compass(s) status, IMU status, then you can go punch holes in the clouds....
