First time uploading. Still a lot to learn. This was 6/28/20 at New Smyrna Beach Jetty, FL. I didn’t even see the shark till I was home reviewing video.
What drone were you using?
M2Z with ND16 polarized filter. I just realized I can slow the gimble down so that'll be nice. It's nauseating how fast I jerk it around now. What drone were you using?
That zoom effect was cool
The M2Z was my first choice until the MA2 came out. The 4K60 did me in. The 48mp quad-bayer array is pretty neat too, but I never use it. I always AEB 5 then stitch HDR.M2Z with ND16 polarized filter. I just realized I can slow the gimble down so that'll be nice. It's nauseating how fast I jerk it around now.
Sounds good, I have no idea what you're talking about lol. Camera stuff I think.
have you tried flying around the edgewater area? i live between the two, closer to NSB, but fly edgewater and oak hill more than anywhere else.Sounds good, I have no idea what you're talking about lol. Camera stuff I think.
I'll be in St Pete in a couple weeks and there's no restrictions other than standard rules of flying. Hope to get some good sea life shots then.
NSB I can only go 50agl. Which is good honestly cause holy shite all the aircraft fly low there.
I have not been to those spots for droning but fish ML and Haul Over quite a bit. I plan to get there soon for some video.have you tried flying around the edgewater area? i live between the two, closer to NSB, but fly edgewater and oak hill more than anywhere else.

Not seeing wild life in my videos until I get home is a constant problem. I think I should try and pay attention more to the little details on the screen.First time uploading. Still a lot to learn. Guys- you cannot have it both ways- if you are looking at your screen for the sharks, you are not looking at your drone. A lot of hypocrisy here on the forum. The holier than thou people want me to always look at my drone, and I want to compose my image/video and still see my drone. Not seeing wild life in my videos until I get home is a constant problem. It would have been great if you had spotted the shark and followed it. I have an ocean shot of a 4 or 5 footer going past a swimmer floating on his back.
Same thing, didn't see it until home.
I guess a lot of you people have spotters. Nice if you can get it. I don't. For me, flying my drone is a solo activity which I intend to keep that way. Nothing more relaxing or enjoyable to isolate myself from the crowd than to get out there in the open air and it's just Mavic and me.There's always a spotter...
I agree, except I enjoy including my wife lol... Most of the time. ?I guess a lot of you people have spotters. Nice if you can get it. I don't. My wife would be terminally bored with it.I agree, except I enjoy including my wife lol... Most of the time. ?
I try to park places where she can sit in the AC of the car, read a book, or see some nice scenery. My wife would be terminally bored with it.
Yes- I am an old fart, but young and spry. Still, if my wife is in the car reading, she cannot possibly be a spotter for me. I do not want to have a 2 year old around me for the most part- been there, done that.I try to park places where she can sit in the AC of the car, read a book, or see some nice scenery.
But I just now noticed the age difference between us lol.
I also bring my 2 year old son, and my wife plays with him while I'm outside the car flying. That is, if they don't get out and walk around. Most times I'm inside the car with them, but if he starts acting out, I step out to minimize my distractions.
