I think DJI was finding creative ways to get DJI drones into the US and finally decided to no longer support it. Split shipments, alternate sourcing, shipping from HK or Malaysia under the cover of darkness, trying to beat the tariffs with small parts and packets shipments, allowing retailers to cross borders, positioning and re-positioning of supplies according to the EOs of the week. It was probably meant to be temporarily until everything blows over but it seems like they are tired of the mess and can no longer bear the costs and once they step away from it completely, supplies start to dwindle, prices start to creep up, retailers and resellers react negatively, and customers start to feel the impact. My fear is the consumer drone is not at the top of the food chain and can easily be forgotten and left behind by the different levels of buyers. All that hard work to get into Amazon, to be the only drone in the Best Buy showcase, over 10 years of progress....squandered and dismantled in 10 months.
