How do I get my Air 2 to shoot one continuous video clip as opposed to 4 or 5 clips during one flight?

You can't AFAIK. But they are a continuous shot if you put them together.

Cycles every 5 minutes I think. And like was posted when you put
them together you don’t see a break but just 1 continuous video.

What is recommended software for a Mac to splice them together?

I just use imovie and place them in line with each other. .
Will not see no transition unless you put one between them.

Just look in iMovie at the top and you will see it. Click it and pull whatever from your music Library.

I did this and it only allowed me to drag and drop 1piece and I only have 40 seconds of sound. I cannot stretch it out.
