Have a good case off of Amazon. Waterproof and made for the fly more combo. Bought it before I even received the Air 2 since I wasn’t keen on the soft bag.
Like it since I can toss it in the back of the Jeep and hit the road. Plus the kids can’t hurt it once locked.

I have a Nanuk 915 case that fits in my FPV backpack but I wanted something slightly smaller to carry just the basics for hikes. This is an Apache 2800 case with the pick and pluck foam. I picked the bottom and top foam then glued those and the bottom foam together with spray adhesive. After that I applied several coats of Plasti Dip, I think it came out quite nice.

Good job! Came out quite clean with no seams. How much smaller is this case compared to the Nanuk 915?

No pics but I went with the Lowepro droneguard 250. I really like it, plenty of room for everything including my mavmount with room to spare!

So, can you fit it in there with the props on?
Without prop guards, I wouldn't because they can get snagged on the way out (the ones underneath the drone)...I have just ordered some prop guards by PGYTech from B&H Photo and after they come in, I will start leaving them on.

By prop guards, do you mean the little clips that hold them together on the drone? I ordered those the second day I had it as I was having a hard time keeping them from getting hung using the case that came with the Fly More combo. Something should really some with it for drones with foldable props. But I think this case looks much easier to use and is more protective for the drone and various parts.

Yes...I shouldn't have called them prop guards...but prop holders!! I totally forgot about prop guards being a thing!!!!

Prop Holders

Just for the unit itself. Waterproof and crush proof lol. Important when taking mountain biking. The tx mounts to the pack's sternum and waist straps so you can stop and flip it open to control. The rest goes in my POC hydration pack.
