Since clear skies are blue a complementary color like yellow could work. Also consider a strobe. In addition to a color, a broad striped pattern could help visibility as well. But any patterns won’t be very distinguishable at distance.

Hi John,
it all depends on the predominant background...what is visible against a red desert background will not be visible against another so unless you go puce yellow it’s difficult. Whatever you choose with regard to skin it will always be a compromise but ...strobes are the way forward..red and green on front legs white on rear

Thank you. I’m thinking about getting the decal girlmat yellow skin and I already purchased firehouse strobe and snap on holders. I plan I getting green and white and mounting on arms as you recommend.

I assume the strobes will not affect camera and video images?
