Hello fellow Pilots,
This is my first post. Recently I had to send in my mavic pro for repair took 3 and a 1/2 weeks to get back. What had happen was I allowed a friend of mine to fly the drone, before handing him the remote I told him, this is a beautiful picture drone, not a stunt drone. Needless to say he slammed the drone into a flag pole and the thing dropped about 35ft on its nose. The back tab snapped and the gimble was giving me overload errors constantly. Upon receiving my repaired mavic, I noticed the gimble mounting tab that sits closest to the air vent on the mavic wasn't made of a thin piece of aluminum anymore. It looks like DJI recognized that the tab was too weak and the repaired drone now had a much thicker and better designed plastic tab. I will try to get photos tonight. Just thought you guys might like to know.
