Small thumbnail image each time

Hi guys,

Sorry I am sure there is a setting somewhere, but I cant find it.

Each time a take an still image, as well as the image there is also a small low resolution thumbnail of the image saved as well.
Is there a way of stopping the the thumbnail, to save me deleting it?

If you shoot RAW+JPG, you will get both images. You can change that to just RAW or just JPG.

The JPG isn't a thumbnail though. The DNG files have a thumbnail, but it's embedded into the raw file. Are you seeing a small low-rez thumbnail in addition to the RAW and/or full-sized JPG

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.
Yes I checked that, I am shooting just jpeg, but I had better double check.
Its definitely not a RAW file the resolution is very very low.
Almost 100% certain its just jpeg.

Also be sure you're looking at images on your SD card. If you're looking at images on your controller device (phone or tablet), those are low rez previews that are not for general use and, as far as I know, you can't turn off.

As above.., you are looking at small preview images on your phone. Full images and vids will be on the SD card that you can install into the side port of your M2P.

Hi thanks for getting back to me, that makes sense, so thank you.
I have a much bigger problem now, the controller might have failed, but I will do a separate post for that.
