I don't understand why but it must be of some technical background ... why else whould DJI pass on additional revenues.

Well, that may be a cultural thing too, but as I have experienced on my trips around the globe, money and power are somehow universal. ??

Since the transmission system is completely different it would have to be a different product, and given who the MA is targeted to very few people would be likely to be happy to pay almost the price of the full aircraft set for a controller.
Also, "booming popularity"? It's far behind the big boys.

The SC only has Occusync 2 support, Mavic Air doesn't have Occusync (anything) support.... Annoys me too as would love to be able to use the same controller for both my Mavic's....
