Smart Control Microphone?

I have looked in all the menus and settings and cannot figure out how to turn the microphone on at all, but would like to use it for-with the screen recordings, is this possible?

Been told by Dji it does not work with the screen recorder only works with the screen cashe

Tap the Upper Right Menu (three horizontal dots), then in General: "Record Audio with Video Cache" but I'm not exactly sure how it works.

I did download the 3rd party app, Parrot and was able to use the microphone. So while Parrot is running, I guess you could provide audio narration. I hope someone with more info stops by.
