Several folks have mentioned this issue. I had it happen twice and both times the RTH worked perfectly. Someone recently mentioned they were taking photos in quick succession before their app crashed. That’s what I was doing. So for me was a pretty easy leap to see that the app was getting overwhelmed....sort of like learning to fly has been at times, ha!! Anyway, just wanted to toss out that and since then I wait for the app to do its thing and recycle between pressing the shutter button. And so far...knock on wood...it has flown perfectly.
