Yipee!! Got this email from DJI ...

"Dear Customer, This product will be covered under warranty. We'll either repair it or replace it with a product that's new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability. This message is from DJI Support. After testing your product, DJI has determined to provide you with free repair service. The repair is expected to be finished within 3 to 6 business days, after which the product will be sent back to you. Thank you for choosing DJI."

Wow - the new SC that DJI sent as a replacement is fabulous. I seamlessly and quickly upgraded to the latest firmware with no problems. Quickly added both an M2Z and M2ED to aircraft management. And yippee - the frustrating sometimes-bug that I experienced with the first controller which did not display video feed and required restart of the SC and aircraft - is gone. :) This SC now rocks ... to the extent that I've pretty much decided NOT to part with it.
