So is there a new consensus on best settings?

Months ago I recall some debate between 2.7K and 4K based on the bandwidth along with using D-Log, D-Cinelike or Art.

Is there a current consensus on the latest firmware about best settings to retain most image quality (for video, of course)?

It all depends on the media outlet you plan to upload the video to as well as the software you use to edit it. I've got good video in full 4k and in some instances even better in 2.7k. I know YouTube downsizes 4k to 1080p in some cases for upload servers. I use D-Cinelike and have got some very good quality pictures.

At the end of the day it all depends on what your specific video needs are.
