So, it is now illegal for DJI to sell any drones in the US?

I I imagine there will be appeals and counter arguments and it will drag on for years ... I expect the answer will be no it isn’t illegal ... think Apple v Samsung

The Patent has some very specific drawings that illustrate Autel's method of 'latching' the prop's to the motors. There is a big difference between how Autel proposes to do it, and how DJI do it. That is the problem with patents, in that you have to be very specific and describe and illustrate - but an alternate way of doing the same thing doesn't have to be all that different to stop it infringing the patent. I can, however, imagine DJI being in for a tough time, due to Mr Trump's obsession to block everything Chinese.

The whole US patent system is messed up on so many levels. It'll drag through the courts.

This looks more like Autel, incapable of competing on quality or innovation, are trying to stifle the competition with generic bland claims and court cases.
